NGO-DARPAN is a platform that offers a place for interaction between VOs/NGOs and important government bodies, departments, and ministries. It is suggested that it eventually encompass all central ministries, departments, and government bodies.

This is a free service provided by the National Informatics Centre and NITI Aayog to promote better accountability, efficiency, and transparency as well as increased collaboration between the public and nonprofit sectors.


The Prime Minister's Office initially launched the NGO-DARPAN with the goal of fostering a positive working relationship between VOs/NGOs and the Indian government. NITI Aayog currently oversees the Portal.
